...St Brides Church in Fleet Street. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren in 1672. In 1703 the spire was the inspiration for the tiered wedding cake, which was made by a bakers apprentice for his own wedding in nearby Ludgate Hill. The church is also the spiritual home of the media and press. Amen.
